The hospital is member of Providence Health & Services, an integrated not-for-profit network of hospitals, care centers, clinics, physicians, home health services, affiliated programs and services, and educational facilities operating in Alaska, California, Montana, Oregon and Washington. Acute Rehabilitation
Our comprehensive program includes a multitude of services for conditions including stroke, spinal cord and brain injuries and utilizes top technology such as LiteGate and Bioness. Our Rehabcentre is supported by physical, occupational and speech therapists both inpatient and outpatient with several specialties including certified hand, lymphedema and vision specialists.

Addiction Medicine
For more than 25 years, the Recovery Center at Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center San Pedro has offered a premier chemical dependency program addressing the needs of the chemically dependent and their significan others. Our experienced and skilled interdisciplinary team led by the medical director, a certified addictionologist, uses a broad array of therapies to support the patient through successful rehabilitation and uses cutting-edge treatment in conjunction with traditional therapies.

Behavioral Health
Our Bridges program is a multidisciplinary adult psychiatric program that provides a broad range of mental health services, delivered with respect and compassion. Services include acute (inpatient) psychiatric care, as well as partial hospitalization and outpatient programs. Bridges also specializes in gero-psychiatric services, working closely with local nursing homes and senior programs to meet the needs of older adults in our community.

Emergency Care
The hospital serves as a 24-hour Emergency Medical Service site with physicians who are board certified in emergency medicine and have been rated in the top 5% nationally in patient satisfaction. Our “Fast Track” service is available for the rapid diagnosis and treatment of non life-threatening injuries and illnesses.

Sub-Acute Care
Our Sub Acute Care Center is a separate 125-bed licensed facility accredited by the Department of Health Services (DHS). It is the largest facility in California providing care to ventilator and tracheostomy patients. Our goal is to create an environment that will minimize further disease progress, aid in preserving the stability of the resident, and return the individual to the highest level of function or independence possible.
