Two of our hospitals and our large employed physician group are located in the South Bay, and we have three major medical centers in the San Fernando Valley.

San Fernando Valley, home to more than 2 million people, is the sixth most populated "city" in the U.S., although it is officially part of Los Angeles. The Valley boasts a diverse economy, expanding workforce, dominating arts and entertainment community and easy access to the widest imaginable range of educational and recreational options.

San Pedro is a city of 73,000 located in the South Bay area of Los Angeles. San Pedro is a historic fishing community that is now the home of the Port of Los Angeles World Cruise Center, a major international cruise ship terminal. The ships and the port itself are industrial engineering marvels. San Pedro also excels in simpler arenas, offering fresh sea breezes, old fishing wharfs and great walking beaches.

Torrance, with a population of about 145,000, is the sixth largest city in LA County. Located about 25 miles southwest of downtown LA, Torrance is a mixture of thriving industry and suburbia, with a number of oil refinery operations as well as 24 city parks and easy access to some of the best coastal golf courses and beaches in Southern California.
