WELCOME TO SWEDISH MOBILE MAMMOGRAPHY
Thank you for choosing Swedish to take care of your Breast-health needs. It’s never been easier to get your mammogram. We offer 2D digital mammography, 3D mammography also known as digital breast tomomosynthesis or DBT. We have also incorporated digital computer aided detection (CAD) to enhance our mammography equipment. We would like to thank you and your organization for taking a proactive approach in your breast health.

The mobile coach is only accessible by stairs. Patients should be able to walk up and down stairs easily and remain standing during their appointment

Please read these FAQs about the Swedish mobile mammography coach before scheduling your appointment.

Q: Who can get a screening mammogram on the mobile coach?
|
A: Women over the age of 40 who have not had a mammogram in the past year may receive their annual screening mammogram on the mobile coach.
|
|
Q: Do I need a referral for a mammogram?
|
A: No referral is needed for women over the age of 40 who have not had a mammogram in the past year (365 days). Women aged 35-39, will need a referral for a screening mammogram from their provider.

Q: Who is considered high risk for breast cancer?
|
A: Mother, sister or daughter have been diagnosed with breast or ovarian cancer in their 40’s or younger. Testing positive to BRCA1/BRCA2. Treated with chest radiation for Hodgkin’s disease. High risk patients do not need a referral.

Q: What if I have breast implants?
|
A: We require 2 back to back appointment time slots. When scheduling on the next page please remember to book the 2nd appointment time slot. Example below:

Q: Who should NOT have a mammogram with the mobile coach?
|
A: If you are experiencing breast pain, nipple discharge, lumps or are recently diagnosed with breast cancer, please speak with your primary care provider to discuss further recommendations, testing or referrals. If your last mammogram results needed additional imaging, you should be seen at a breast center.
Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should be seen at a breast center

Q: Is the mobile coach ADA accessible?
|
A: Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate wheelchairs or walkers. The only way inside the coach is via stairs. All patients should be able to easily walk up stairs and remain standing during their exam. Should you require additional assistance or an ADA facility, please visit one of our Swedish Breast center locations.

Q: Do I need to be vaccinated for COVID-19?
|
A: No. All patients are welcome regardless of vaccine status.
