Providence Health International Thank you for your interest in international service. Within the “Hopes and Aspirations” document, the Sisters of Providence commend us to “reach beyond the borders of our own country as global citizens exemplified through the witness of Providence Health International missions,” noting that these initiatives “provide transformation, not only for the recipients of the services but also for the Providence people who provide services.” It is in this spirit that we offer opportunities for ongoing formation through unique service experiences. Please complete the form below in order to join our database for future trip outreach. As soon as we have an opening that aligns with your skill set or that is intended for employees in your region or department we will send you an invitation to apply to a specific service trip. In Guatemala we offer opportunities for medical/surgical service trips with Faith in Practice and public health teams with Medical Teams International. We also sponsor home construction focused trips to Mexico with Esperanza International. We begin the planning process for these teams and send trip invitations up to a year in advance.
